On Saturday the United States will celebrate her 233 rd birthday, and nationwide thousands of firework displays will mark the occasion.  In Russellville, residents will also be able to enjoy a firework display on the fourth of July.  

The Russellville Recreation and Parks Department will present the annual Community Fireworks Display.  The display will take place at Old Post Road Park in Russellville. 

Organizers say the first fireworks will light up the sky around 9:15 p.m., and officials expect the fireworks display to last approximately 20 minutes.   

According to the Russellville Recreation and Parks Department website, there is no charge to attend the display.
